Stanton, TN Homeowners Needed the Next Phase of Foundation Leveling
Dwayne and Cindy M. of Stanton, TN called Redeemers Group after noticing continued foundation problems and uneven floors in their home. They had completed the first phase of their crawl space structural repair in February 2025 and were ready to move forward with the next section of work. The main concern was floor leveling in the kitchen and nearby laundry room, where weakened framing, damaged joists, and limited crawl space clearance created a need for a targeted structural repair plan.
SmartJacks, Supplemental Beam, Main Beam Repair, and Joist Sistering Were Installed
To continue the previous repair, the crew extended the existing SmartJack support system by 10 more feet beneath the kitchen. The repair included 2 SmartJacks, 10 feet of supplemental beam, 6 feet of main beam replacement, and joist sistering to reinforce two 12-foot 2x8 floor joists. In the laundry room and small bedroom closet area, the crawl space was only about 10 inches high, so the team reframed a 96-square-foot section using treated lumber to better support the floor system in a low-clearance, moisture-prone area.
Crawl Space Framing Repairs Helped Stabilize and Protect the Home
This foundation leveling project was important because sagging floors are often a sign of weakened crawl space supports, damaged beams, or compromised subfloor framing. By using SmartJacks, supplemental beam, treated lumber, main beam replacement, and joist sistering, Redeemers Group helped stabilize the floor system and continue the progress from the first phase of repairs.
