Sump Pump Placement: Just inside the crawlspace door, we positioned the sump pump for optimal efficiency. With a convenient nearby outlet, only a minor modification — cutting a small hole in the door — was necessary to accommodate the pump’s power cord.
Custom Discharge Line: Creating a safe and effective water discharge path was critical. We routed a 25-foot PVC discharge line up through the floor joists, out an exterior wall under the wooden deck, and down to ground level. From there, the line would be buried and directed safely into the landscape, keeping the foundation dry and protected.
