Clint Cooper co-hosts Real Estate Mortgage Shoppe on WREC am 600/iHeart radio

Clint Cooper chatted with Jo Garner on Saturday about several different topics affecting homeowners. Since it is Mold Awareness month, Jo wanted to have Clint in to discuss mold in people's homes. They talked through the lack of regulations that exist as it relates to a person declaring themselves as a mold expert. Clint expressed his frustration that for about $150, anyone can take a test and become a certified mold expert. He warned homeowners to do their due diligence before having a mold professional out to assess their issues.

Jo asked Clint about the mold that you CAN'T see in your home. He advised that 50% of the air that you breathe in your home comes from under the home, such as your crawlspace or basement. Read more here about why that is. 

Jo and Clint additionally talked about moisture damage as it relates to homes being structurally safe and sound. Clint discussed the type of structural repairs that Redeemers Goup addresses. He additionally announced an upcoming project the company will be working on to give back to the community. Redeemers Group will be launching a nomination process for Memphis-area charitable organizations whose structures are in need of foundation repairs up to $10,000.
