Testing process for The Bass Pro Shop project at The Pyramid

This video shows a load testing frame performed during a foundation repair project for the Pyramid commercial job site in Memphis, TN . This is a procedure commonly used on commercial jobs to find the failure point of the pier that is driven the ground. It's a necessary step to meet engineering criteria on some commercial jobs. 
It is not necessary to test every helical pile that will be used in the project. Instead, test locations are picked based on a better representative of the grid of piers that will ultimately hold loads in specific areas of a given structure. 
This particular job required 6 test locations. The video demonstrates an ongoing test.
