Dangerous Hole Forms Under a Concrete Driveway in Starkville MS
This homeowner was always a bit suspicious of the drainage channel installed right under his concrete driveway. Well, as the channel worked unchecked, the water from it leaked in and around his concrete driveway, which ultimately resulted in a HUGE hole, or as we call them, voids forming under his concrete driveway. Left alone, this hole would have ultimately lead to extreme sinking and cracking of his driveway which eventually would cause the driveway to collapse! This homeowner did the very smart thing and called Redeemers Group, a local concrete repair specialist in Starkville Mississippi. Because he called us soon enough, we were able to save his driveway by filling the voids formed by water, and sealing his concrete joints so that more water would not get under his slabs and lead to the same problem all over again. this homeowner saved thousands of dollars, not to mention extreme headaches, by getting his concrete repaired before it needed to be replaced!
Crawl Space SmartJack Stabilization and Floor Leveling in Starkville, MS
Sloping Floors and Crawl Space Support Failure Caused Structural Concerns James B. of Starkville, Mississippi contacted our team after noticing sloping floors and cracking throughout his older two-story home over the previous six months. The most noticeable problem areas were located near the entryway and kitchen, where floor movement and settlement had become increasingly concerning. During the crawl space inspection, additional structural issues were discovered beneath the home, including mold growth on the wood framing, failing support systems, and several areas lacking adequate structural support altogether. Multiple crawl space repair options were discussed, including full encapsulation, LumberKote wood treatment, and SmartJack stabilization throughout the crawl space to help restore support and improve long-term structural performance. SmartJack Installation and Supplemental Beam Support Stabilized the Floor System To address the most urgent structural concerns, crews installed new supplemental beam systems along with SmartJack supports beneath the affected areas of the home. A 10-foot beam and two SmartJacks were installed beneath the front entry area to lift and stabilize the sagging floor system. Additional stabilization work included three more SmartJacks paired with a 15-foot beam system in another section of the crawl space where floor support had weakened over time. During installation, HVAC ductwork blocking access beneath the home was temporarily removed by another contractor to allow crews full access to the necessary work areas. Once the support systems were installed and adjusted, the floor structure responded well, achieving noticeable lift and stabilization throughout the targeted sections of the home. Controlled Floor Lifting Improved Structural Stability Without Damaging Interior Finishes One of the most important parts of the project was carefully controlling the amount of lift applied to the flooring system. After achieving proper stabilization beneath the front entry area, the crew intentionally stopped short of over-lifting the floors to avoid damaging existing flooring patches and interior finishes inside the home. This measured approach allowed the structure to regain support while minimizing the risk of cosmetic damage above the crawl space. The completed SmartJack system significantly improved floor stability in the kitchen and entryway areas while providing the homeowner with a stronger structural foundation moving forward. The project also helped outline a long-term plan for future crawl space encapsulation and additional stabilization should the homeowner decide to complete the remainder of the crawl space improvements later. Schedule a Professional Crawl Space Structural Inspection If your home has sloping floors, interior cracks, sagging supports, or crawl space moisture issues, early structural repairs can help prevent more serious damage over time. Professional SmartJack stabilization systems, supplemental beams, and crawl space moisture solutions can restore support, improve floor performance, and help protect your home’s long-term structural integrity.

Property Value Saved in Corinth, MS
Cynthia P. of Corinth, MS noticed exterior cracks in the bricks of her home.  This was a real problem because she intends to sell the home and wants to make sure that the property value is intact.  She wants to do some cosmetic repairs and renovations but needs to have a stable foundation first.  She called Redeemers Group. Antonio, one of our foundation specialists, went out to Corinth to assess the issue.  After a thorough inspection, he was able to pinpoint all the trouble areas and the causes of the settlement.  He designed a permanent solution that would not only address these problems, but also meet Cynthia’s needs of returning a profit on the sale of the home. The project started with Tip, one of our foundation experts.  He and his crew attacked the foundation issue using our Helical Pier system.  These helical piers are driven down into the earth as to not disturb the soil and cause more issues.  The foundation is then attached to the piers using a special bracketing system.  Finally, pressure is added to the system to lift and stabilize the foundation. After Tip’s crew finished, it was time for Brennan and crew.  They would use our PolyLevelTM to backfill any voids left after lifting the foundation.  This would stop any future soil issues that could affect the foundation.  They would also address the sinking concrete porch in the back of the house.  The porch was sinking and pulling away from the rest of the house.  With our PolyLevelTM System, we were able to lift the porch back into place and ensure that it was level. This house is now permanently stable.  Cynthia has the peace of mind that she deserves knowing that she can list her house at full market value.
Foundation Stabilized in Corinth, MS
Gabriel and Emily of Corinth, MS recently moved into their home and quickly discovered structural concerns beneath their floors. During a routine plumbing and flooring repair, they noticed a large hole in the crawlspace, posing a serious risk to the main support beam. The existing support columns on either side of the hole were in danger of shifting, which could lead to significant floor damage or collapse. Additionally, moisture buildup and mold growth under the home raised concerns about long-term structural integrity and air quality. To prevent further deterioration and costly repairs in the future, encapsulation was recommended as a necessary solution. To address these issues, the repair plan involved installing two SmartJacks™ and a 10-foot beam to reinforce the main structure. The sinkhole beneath the home was filled with white rock, along with existing bricks and concrete blocks found in the crawlspace. Old support pillars in the affected area were removed to ensure stability. Before encapsulation could begin, Gabriel and Emily were advised to remove obstructive ductwork that was limiting access to key areas. Once cleared, insulation and moisture barriers would be installed to seal the space, preventing future mold and wood rot. SilverGlo™ insulation was applied only to the remaining exposed crawlspace walls, while the sump pump was strategically placed for optimal drainage control. With these repairs completed, Gabriel and Emily’s home is now protected from foundation failure and moisture-related damage. They no longer have to worry about costly structural repairs or persistent mold issues in the future. If you’re facing similar concerns with your home’s foundation or crawlspace, don’t wait until small problems become major disasters—contact us today for a professional assessment and long-lasting solutions!
Historic Corinth Home Stabilized with SmartJack System
Structural Issues in a Historic 1904 Corinth Residence Miss Lisa G.’s beautiful 1904 home in downtown Corinth, MS, began showing signs of structural distress. Rotten support posts and a settling main beam caused the interior walls to sag, leading to shifting transom windows and uneven floors throughout the 954-square-foot crawlspace. The home’s age and craftsmanship made it particularly vulnerable—especially with true 2x10 joists spanning 15 feet and 2x6s spanning 8 feet in critical load areas. Without intervention, the continued settlement could have led to more severe structural movement, compromised safety, and further damage to the original glass windows. SmartJack Crawl Space Support System Provides Targeted Stabilization Redeemers Group’s foundation experts designed a customized solution using the SmartJack® Crawl Space Support System to stabilize the failing structure. Due to limited clearance—just 12 inches from joist to floor in some areas—installation required precision and care. Technicians strategically placed SmartJacks beneath the sagging beam to lift and support the floors while avoiding excessive pressure that could crack the delicate glass above. The team achieved measurable improvement in floor stability and wall alignment without compromising the transom windows—exactly in line with the homeowner’s priorities. Preserving Historic Integrity Through Expert Foundation Repair By combining modern engineering with a respect for historic preservation, Redeemers Group successfully stabilized this early 20th-century home. The SmartJack system restored structural integrity, reduced floor sag, and prevented future settlement—all without altering the home’s historic character. This project demonstrates how Redeemers Group’s crawl space repair methods deliver durable results, even in challenging, shallow-access environments. If your historic home is showing signs of sagging floors or settling walls, contact Redeemers Group today for a free inspection and lasting foundation stabilization.

Foundation Repair & Crawlspace Pier Installation in West Point, MS
WT Davis Jr. of West Point, MS faced significant foundation issues at his home, which was built on a crawlspace foundation. The front side of the house had noticeably sunk, causing doors to stick, exterior bricks to separate, and visible cracks to form in the corners of the interior walls. The damage was most severe in the study room, a bedroom and bathroom, and the dining area. Compounding the problem was a poorly executed crawlspace encapsulation by a previous contractor, along with evidence of severe soil cracking under the home. To stabilize the failing foundation, we recommended and quoted six heavy-duty foundation piers. Three of these required installation from within the crawlspace due to the presence of a brick porch obstructing exterior access. Additionally, we quoted four more piers to reinforce the storage room area—two of which required installation in concrete to ensure proper load transfer and lasting support. Each pier was strategically planned to correct settlement and prevent further structural damage. To address the front entry issue, we also quoted a precision PolyLevel® injection beneath the front steps, which had sunk approximately 3 inches from back to front. This high-density foam solution would lift and level the steps, restoring safe access and curb appeal. If your home is showing signs of foundation failure—such as sticking doors, cracked walls, or sinking concrete—contact us today for a professional assessment and a lasting solution.
Basement Waterproofing and Wall Stabilization in Booneville, MS: Preparing for a Full Home Renovation
John C. of Booneville, MS inherited his family home 15 years ago and is now taking on the challenge of updating it—starting from the ground up. His first priority is transforming the basement into a usable space, with plans to build a staircase from the upper level and eventually use the area for storage. But before any improvements could begin, he needed to address a critical issue: water intrusion from every wall, pooling across the basement floor and threatening long-term damage. Our inspection revealed three walls below grade and one front-facing wall that was cracking due to external soil pressure. To permanently stabilize that wall, we proposed installing a PowerBrace system—an effective solution for reinforcing foundation walls showing signs of inward movement. For waterproofing, we designed a comprehensive system to capture and redirect water away from the basement, ensuring the space remains dry and ready for future renovations. A fireplace ledge in one corner of the basement remained dry and leak-free, so we ran a feed line around it to preserve its integrity while maintaining proper drainage across the rest of the area. With waterproofing in place, John’s next steps include constructing retaining walls and installing either sliding or double doors to finish off the basement entry. This project marks the beginning of a larger, phased renovation that will breathe new life into a home rich with family history. By starting with a stable, dry foundation, John is setting the stage for future upgrades that will add both comfort and value. Ready to reclaim your basement? Contact us today to learn how our foundation and waterproofing systems can give your space a fresh start—built to last.
Exterior Foundation Cracks in Lexington, TN
Alicia S. was about to sell her home when she noticed cracks forming on the walls of the home. She knew that this was a sign of a foundation issue and that this would have to be resolved before he sold the house. He gave us a call and Redeemers Group was more than happy to help Alicia. To resolve this issue, we installed slab piers that started in the kitchen and wrapped around to the Master bedroom/bathroom. Installing piers will support the foundation of the home. When soils are unable to bear the load of the structure on top of it, that structure must sink downwards into the ground. This is true with homes, concrete floors, chimneys, and many other structures. We also installed the PolyLevel® system and this uses high-density polyurethane expanding foam to raise settled concrete foundations and slabs. The state-of-the-art polymer injection is a fast-acting, affordable alternative to mudjacking and concrete slab replacement. Installers use specially-designed equipment to inject structural-grade polymer into penny-sized holes bored in the slab. After the void underneath the concrete slab is filled, the expanding foam will lift and level the slab. PolyLevel® is a quick-curing solution and the polymer is waterproof and will never wash away. By installing these systems, were able to help Alicia sell her home at an increased value.
