Crawlspace Moisture & Structural Repair in Oxford, MS
Crawlspace Moisture Problems Threatened the Home’s Structural Integrity This project centered on a home in Oxford, MS where the homeowner had recently begun noticing moisture throughout the crawlspace. Water was entering through the front wall due to heavy runoff collecting in the flower bed near the garage, creating hydrostatic pressure that pushed moisture into the structure. Inside the crawlspace, the soil and vapor barrier showed clear evidence of repeated water intrusion and washout that exposed portions of the footer. Beyond the moisture issues, the inspection revealed significant structural concerns: a main beam lacking adequate support, a floating beam with only a single pier, and a 14-foot unsupported span. These problems created instability under the home, placing long-term foundation health at risk. Specialized Crawlspace Support Using SmartJacks Delivered Reliable Stabilization To address the structural risks, the team installed a series of SmartJacks targeted at the home’s most vulnerable support points. Two standalone SmartJacks were placed on either side of the first failing pier to stabilize the sagging beam. Another SmartJack was added beneath the floating beam to support the previously unsupported section, and a fourth was placed at the midpoint of the 14-foot span to reinforce the long, weakened area. While multiple drainage solutions were discussed—including sump pumps and interior drainage along the front wall—the homeowner ultimately selected the SmartJacks-only option at this time. Thanks to the unusually tall crawlspace, the installation proceeded efficiently. The team also documented that lime was spread through the crawlspace, noting that future visits should include respiratory protection. Proven Foundation Repair Methods Ensured Long-Term Peace of Mind This repair project demonstrated the importance of using engineered crawlspace solutions to protect both structural integrity and future property value. SmartJacks provided a permanent, adjustable method for stabilizing the home’s load-bearing beams, preventing further sagging or settlement. Addressing these issues early helped stop ongoing damage and reduced the risk of costlier foundation problems down the road. With structural supports now reinforced, the homeowner gained peace of mind knowing the home is safer, more stable, and better prepared for future moisture-control upgrades if they choose to move forward. Protect Your Home from Moisture and Structural Damage If you’re noticing sloping floors, moisture in the crawlspace, or signs of weakening beams, now is the time to act. Foundation Repair and Waterproofing Restores Stability to Union City Home
Bob P. and his wife, longtime residents of Union City, TN, began to notice unsettling signs of foundation issues around their home. After over two decades in the house, they observed exterior settling near a front corner—approximately two inches of sinking along 12 feet of the front wall and 8 feet toward the garage. A deeper inspection revealed a visible gap in the crawlspace where the block wall was separating from the framing. This problem was compounded by heavy water collection from a nearby downspout and a natural low point in the crawlspace, creating the perfect storm for ongoing structural damage. With future plans to sell, they knew it was time to take action before things worsened. Though initially cautious about hiring a contractor, the couple placed their trust in our team after we thoroughly assessed their home and walked them through our proposed solution. Leveraging Bob's experience as a former builder, we communicated clearly and gained their confidence. We installed five push piers with strategic hand-digging to avoid damaging the existing concrete driveway—minimizing disruption while achieving optimal lift. On the interior, we implemented a sump pump and interior drainage system to combat water intrusion. The piering crew completed four of the concrete remove-and-replace (R&R) sections, leaving one open for the waterproofing team, which later installed the interior discharge line and completed the final R&R. To ensure long-term success, we routed the discharge line underneath the sidewalk and extended it to a drainage ditch 70 feet away near the street. This careful planning prevented unnecessary rework and preserved the newly laid concrete. We recommended applying LumberKote and a three-part CPS system to the driveway for added durability. Thanks to our foundation and waterproofing efforts, Bob and his wife can now feel confident their home is secure, protected, and market-ready when the time comes. Enjoying the View in Myrtle, MS
John M. of Myrtle, MS and his wife were having concerns regarding their home. The back corner of the home has cracked and settled.  They are the original owners of the home. They’ve lived here for more than 20 years and have no plans to move. This is their forever home. Their back porch was also sinking.  They spend a lot of time on their porch and to keep enjoying the view from that porch, they needed to get this resolved.  They tried to have this addressed about 10 years ago, but the company they contracted with installed inferior products.  The problem remained and that company went out of business. We designed a solution that will permanently stabilize both their back porch and their home.  First, we used our PolyLevel® Concrete Injection System to lift and level the porch.  We also sealed all joints and cracks with our NexusPro® Sealant.  We used our push pier system to address the foundation settlement happening with the house.  Our push piers are driven deep into the earth until they meet what is called load bearing strata.  This is the point in which the piers can go no further and rest on this stable soil.  They are attached to the house and pressurized, pushing against the load bearing strata until the house begins to lift.  This is will permanently stabilize their home and ensure that no further settlement will occur in that area. John and his wife are very pleased with the results, stating: “Chet, Brian, Mike & Randy were very knowledgeable about their work and worked well together. They were very respectful and included us in decisions. We would highly recommend this company for your needs.”  We are thrilled to have given them the peace of mind of knowing that their home is stable, and they can enjoy their back porch forever.
SmartJack & Beam Reinforcement for Settled Floors in Myrtle, MS
John M. of Myrtle, MS had been dealing with recurring floor settlement issues along a hallway in his home, despite having support work done a few years earlier. While temporary fixes had been attempted, the floor continued to sag, prompting John to seek a long-term, reliable solution. Having previously trusted Redeemers Group to install push piers on the corner of his home—a project he and his wife were extremely satisfied with—he reached out again for expert guidance. Our team conducted a thorough inspection and identified that the previous contractors had altered the original structural supports by replacing columns with block columns and a 6x6 beam. Unfortunately, these makeshift supports had begun settling, contributing to the ongoing issues. To permanently resolve the problem, we proposed removing the inadequate supports and installing eight SmartJacks and 55 feet of steel supplemental beam beneath the central beam of the home. Additionally, another five SmartJacks and 40 feet of steel beam were needed to stabilize the west-side beam supporting the master bedroom, bathroom, and living room. John asked us to remove the old material from the crawlspace so he could dispose of it himself. During the inspection, we also found high mold concentrations at the front of the crawlspace and recommended LumberKoat to protect and preserve the wooden framing. While there were signs of settlement near the back door and foundation wall, and we recommended five push piers with angle iron for reinforcement, John opted to hold off on pier installation for now, considering reframing the door himself. If your floors are sinking or sagging despite past repairs, don’t settle for short-term fixes. Contact Redeemers Group today to schedule a professional foundation inspection and protect your home from further damage.
Resolving Poolside Washout with PolyLevel® & NexusPro® in Longstanding Concrete
After over two decades of enjoying his backyard pool, Luis noticed a growing concern—washout was becoming evident beneath the concrete where French drains were installed. This erosion caused a substantial void under two key concrete slabs near the pool, raising fears of structural instability and potential slab replacement. Luis wanted a targeted solution that would restore his peace of mind without requiring an extensive or costly demolition. Our team recommended a precision repair using PolyLevel®, an advanced polyurethane injection system designed to fill voids and lift concrete. This was the perfect solution to stabilize the two affected slabs without disrupting the entire poolside area. In addition, we applied NexusPro®, a long-lasting sealant, to all control joints in the surrounding concrete as well as the joint where the concrete meets the brick along the back of Luis’s home. These treatments were tailored to prevent further water intrusion and protect the integrity of the concrete over time. Thanks to this efficient and minimally invasive repair, Luis was able to safeguard his investment without replacing large sections of concrete. The combination of PolyLevel® and NexusPro® not only corrected the immediate issue but also added long-term durability to his outdoor living space.
