Kelsey C. of Marks, MS needed our help.  Her crawl space was in bad shape and she needed a solution.  She and her fiancé bought this house about a year ago, and want to live their life worry free in their home. They are getting married and want to have kids soon, and they don't want to start their family in a house that has structural problems. They want to make sure that the floor is in good condition, so Kelsey called Redeemers Group to see what could be done about the sagging and bouncy floors. Our crawl space specialist went out to Marks to inspect.  Upon investigation, it was discovered that the crawl space was in much worse shape than suspected.  Water and excess moisture had infiltrated the crawl space and destroyed some of the wood.  Mold, mildew, and rot caused major damage to the joists and subfloors.  We were able to propose a permanent solution to these crawl space problems.  Kelsey agreed with the proposal and the work was set. James and his family have a wonderful pool in their backyard. The pool deck slab on the right side of the pool steps settled away from the pool with lippage of over 1" with adjoining slab. There are three pool deck slabs settled away from the pool on north end of the pool, left of the pool step. However, he noticed that there were cracks and uneven concrete surrounding their pool. Mold had been growing in the crawl space for some time before the homeowner caught on. She was tipped off by nasty smells and sinking floors; this meant that the humidity had gotten high enough in the crawl space that the wood had started to rot away! Luckily a local waterproofing and crawl space company, Redeemers Group, was able to come and take a look at her crawl space. The System Design Specialist braved the dark and dank foundation to find that, yes, the humidity was much higher than it should be, and the water content in the wood was much much too high. The wood had begun to rotm and she required some of it to be replaced and the crawl space needed to be encapsulated to make sure the newly replaced wood would not meet the same fate as it's predecessor. Redeemers group replaced the wood where needed, fogged the mold to kill any existing mold in the crawl space, and installed clean space to fully encapsulate the crawl space and make sure the humidity stayed under contrrol for decades to come!

Mike S. noticed that every time it would rain, water would seep through between the foundation and cinderblock walls of his basement garage. On top of the water seepage, he also discovered that during millipede season, hundreds of millipedes would sneak into the area through the same tiny space the water was!! He decided to give Redeemers Group a call, and we were more than happy to help!!
